For as long as she can remember, Claire Evans has known that she would be a professional artist. Her memories of drawing on the sandy shores of South Carolina and high school art classes remind Evans of her long-term dreams that have evolved into a fulfilling career constantly inspired by the beauty in nature around her. Choosing only the finest materials, Evans paints mostly in oil. She enjoys the action of smearing a loaded brush across the canvas as she builds up the surface, focusing on light, form and design. |
