I am sort of a perfectionist, so Im always challenging myself to new standards.
In his studio he works on the potters wheel, using techniques he developed for re-throwing pots over a period of weeks to work energy into them. He produces complex layers of color and texture on the surfaces with non-traditional glazes, sandblasting, and raku firing.

Harvey Sadow lives in a part of Florida most people dont know about. Its drop-dead beautiful out every window--with flowers blooming year around, a pond reflecting light and inverted images of land and sky, egrets and ibis flying over the cypress swamp. He moved there because of the light. It influences every vessel he creates.
